Q. Can Aquara filters be used with Brita®*, and PUR®* pitchers and dispensers?

A. Aquara filters fit all Brita®*, and PUR®* pitchers and dispenser models except for Brita® Stream pitchers.

Q. Do Brita®* and PUR®* filters work with Aquara pitchers and dispensers?

A. All Brita®* and PUR®* filters except the Brita®* Stream filters are compatible with Aquara pitchers and dispensers.

Q. Can Aquara filters be used with Zero Water®* pitchers and dispensers?

A. No, Aquara filters do not work with Zero Water®* pitchers and dispensers.

Q. Do Zero Water®* filters work with with Aquara pitchers and dispensers?

A. No, Zero Water filters will not work with Aquara pitchers and dispensers.

Q. Are Aquara products certified?

A. All Aquara products have been certified by the Water Quality Association (WQA) against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of the claims specified on the Performance Data Sheet. Additionally, our pitchers and filters have been tested and certified by TUV SUD Certificate for food grade quality, and structural integrity, achieving effective reduction of Chlorine, heavy metals, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and other contaminants. Q. Do Aquara filters remove bad taste and odor?

A. Yes. Aquara filters improve taste by reducing chlorine, bad taste and odor.

Q. How long do the Aquara filters last?

A. 40 gallons – approximately 1-2 months for the average household. Please note, it’s important to change your Aquara filter regularly for optimal performance. Please use the mechanical calendar dial, or electronic filter change indicator, when you install a new filter to help keep track of your usage.

Q. What does Aquara filters remove from water?

A. Chlorine (taste and odor), zinc, copper, cadmium and mercury.

Q. Do Aquara filters remove bacteria or viruses?

A. No. Please do not use these products with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without disinfecting.

Q. Can I filter salt water?.

A. No, Aquara water filters are not designed to filter salt water. We do not recommend using any of our products with anything but tap water.
